John S. Morris - John is a native of the Los Angeles area, having spent most of his life in the San Gabriel Valley. He studied physics and geology at UCLA before changing his major to history in which he earned his B.A. John achieved great heights on the Fencing Team, having placed first in the All-Cal (all University of California) Fencing Tournament in 1986 in Men's Foil. He and his fellow team-mates led UCLA to victory in the Southern California intercollegiate fencing league. After graduating from UCLA, John worked as a paralegal for Shearman & Sterling, a large New York based corporate law firm. Shortly thereafter, John attended Loyola Law School and earned his J.D. After working for several years with a small firm in Whittier, and traveling all over the Southern California Counties working on a variety of matters, John and his wife, Shinju, opened their own law office together in Arcadia.He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, going to movies, cycling, playing tennis, and bowling.

John has been a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Family Law Section for many years. John is also a member of WealthCounsel, estate planning and wealth preservation professionals. He enjoys meeting new people and helping them through their problems. He also currently serves on the Family Law Mediation Panel at the Central District courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
